Welcome to Harry's, a beloved café nestled on 3 St John's St in the charming town of Abergavenny, United Kingdom. This inviting haven is where delicious home-cooked meals and a warm atmosphere come together to create an exceptional dining experience.

As you step inside this cozy establishment, you will be enveloped by the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee and tantalizing baked goods. The intimate space may be limited, but it only adds to the charm, creating an inviting and friendly vibe that draws both locals and travelers alike.

Harry's is particularly known for its scrumptious offerings that cater to an array of tastes. Dive into their famous roast pork baguette, which has received rave reviews from customers like Stephen Richards. It's a hearty meal that promises to satisfy your cravings. If you're in the mood for something with a delightful twist, don't miss out on the brie and cranberry toastie—its sweet and savory combination is positively addictive!

For those seeking a quick lighter fare, the peri peri chicken pita has become a fan favorite, praised by Daniel Rhodes for its remarkable flavor and affordability. Pair your meal with one of their freshly made sandwiches or a comforting hot carvery, as noted by Adam Gibson, and you’ll understand why this café is a local treasure.

There’s a sweet ending in store, too! Indulge your sweet tooth with their beautiful range of cakes, including the acclaimed homemade lemon tart that Myfanwy Sylvester describes as "fantastic" in flavor. You might even be lucky enough to nab the last lemon croissant, a delicious pastry to share with loved ones—if you can resist eating it all on your own!

Harry's does have a cash-only policy, as noted by the friendly reminder from customer Dyfed Bowen, so do keep that in mind when you plan your visit. The courteous staff are always ready with a welcoming smile and a chat, making your experience all the more enjoyable. As Alison Jones mentions, whether you’re stopping for a quick coffee or a leisurely lunch, each visit promises delightful food and pleasant interactions.

So the next time you find yourself in Abergavenny, make it a priority to visit Harry's. This café is not just a place to grab a bite; it’s an experience infused with passion, flavor, and warmth. Whether you’re there for a comforting meal or a sweet treat, you won't be disappointed!

Good coffee and usual range of freshly-made sandwiches, paninis etc. Limited room inside but plenty of seats on the pavement.

Went in today for lunch on the rare occasion I actually had some cash with me and ordered a peri peri chicken pita. It was one of the tastiest things Ive had in a long time as was reasonably priced. Look forward to returning soon

Best food in town. Harry learned from his Italian mom. Love his soups and stews in winter. I have never been dissappointed. Harry is always there for a bit of a chat.

Husband, Daughter & I popped in for an excellent cup of coffee, before leaving we picked up slices of Homemade Lemon Tart and the only Lemon Croissant left on the shelf. We each have eaten our own slice of Lemon Tart and split the Amalfi Lemon Croissant between, oh wow is all we can collectively say, the flavour of Lemon is fantastic.
